We are looking for Accounts Assistant to provide support to the accounts department by managing daily accounting tasks. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent....

We are looking for Accounts Assistant to provide support to the accounts department by managing daily accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

· Post daily entries and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

· Update accounts receivable and issue invoices

· Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations

· Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

· Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned

· Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed

· Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports

· Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

. Log the incoming and outgoing inventory

. Maintain accurate inventory records

. Organise the stockroom to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency

· Assist with other accounting projects as assigned

Requirements and skills

· Excellent organizing abilities

· Great attention to detail

· Good with numbers and figures and analytical

· Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

· Knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software

· B.Com in accounting, finance or a relevant field

· With or without experience but can perform task independently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,700.00 per month
