Reporting Analyst

Overview: Looking for a strongly analytical, insightful and proficient Reporting Analyst, to derive deep insights from Core42’s diverse sources of financial & economic data, collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and deliver timely, accurate analyses & reports to the business in order to help the company make better, more informed business decisions. Responsibilities: You will acquire & update data from primary & secondary financial sources, maintain all databases, and develop & implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize organizational efficiency & profitability.
Functional:

• Develop and maintain financial reports, models, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
• Analyze financial data, trends, and variances to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address financial reporting needs.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Interpret a wide range of financial data sources, analyzing results using statistical techniques, monitoring trends, and provide actionable business reports to management.

• Model and structure databases for clear and easy dissemination, understanding and reporting.
• Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex financial data sets.
• Assess and implement improvements to financial reporting processes and systems.
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of financial KPIs and performance metrics.
• Support the design and implementation of financial data visualization and dashboard tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate in a multicultural & diverse environment that expands to include various geographic locations and spans numerous cultures.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Professional certification in finance or accounting (e.g., CFA, CPA)
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the technology or public sector industry
