About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with extensive experience in finance. The CFO will be instrumental in shaping our companys financial strategy, driving financial planning, forecasting, and managing all financial operations within our business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will oversee the finance teams, ensuring the alignment of financial goals with the overall business objectives.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Experience and Certifications: Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent) with at least 10 years’ relevant work experience, at least 3 years at CFO level

• Experience of leading rapidly growing organizations, ideally founder led

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement the companys financial strategy, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough financial analysis.

• Financial Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management to ensure liquidity for daily operations and strategic investments.

• Tax Planning and Compliance: Manage and oversee tax planning and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance teams, ensuring effective financial management.

• Mergers and Acquisitions: Lead the financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, working closely with the Board to drive growth initiatives.

• Executive Collaboration: Act as a key contributor to the Executive Team, playing a pivotal role in corporate financial strategy and growth initiatives.

• Financial Reporting: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and regulatory reporting.

• Risk Management: Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including monitoring market, credit, and operational risks.

• Internal Controls: Establish and uphold internal controls to ensure compliance with local, federal, and international financial and legal standards.

• Vendor Relations and Cash Flow: Implement strategies for balancing vendor relations and cash flow.

• Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all legal and regulatory financial documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

• IT Systems: Implement and oversee the Group’s finance IT platform/system ensuring it is fit for purpose and accurately maintained.
