Job Title: TEST PACK PREPARATOR

Reports to: SUPERVISOR - PIPE

Division/ BU: Production

Department: PIPE

Job OBJECTIVES (Summary of overall job purpose)

Test engineer with a strong technical background who possesses self-discipline and the ability to work with the minimum of supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Policies, Processes & Procedures:

·Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

·Follow and comply to information Security Rules and data security measures in order to protect the company information / intellectual properties.

Day- to-day operations:

· Organizing, conducting, and supporting test activities.

· Organize and supervise test pack dossiers preparatory team ensuring timely preparation and submission of dossiers to QC/Client.

· Plan and organize, including generation of programs, material, drawings, availability of test pack dossiers, manpower, method statements, all primary safety requirements, tools, equipment’s and consumables for pressure testing /chemical cleaning.

· Testing and fault-finding finished systems in accordance with company procedures.

·Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

·Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.

Key Competencies

Language skills:

·Working knowledge of English language.

·Knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage.

Technical competencies:

· Piping Construction plus minimum 3 years shipyard experience or similar construction industry.

· Minimum 3 years working experience with equipment maintenance / calibration.

· Good knowledge in piping tools and equipment.

· Able to understand / interpret isometric drawings, GAD and P&ID

· Comprehensive knowledge in ship construction and relationships between trades.

· Competent with Hydrostatic / pneumatic testing of pipelines.

· Completion of the test pack documentation without delay as per the system priorities (for hydro testing)

· Efficient documentation, no major discrepancies, and bottlenecks until the submission of the project’s final test pack dossier to the client

· Working with multiple projects with very limited time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
