Responsibilities:

  • Receive and review shipping orders and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse personnel to schedule shipments and ensure timely pickup and delivery.
  • Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for outbound shipments.
  • Arrange transportation and negotiate rates with freight carriers to optimize shipping costs.
  • Track and monitor shipments in transit, providing updates to customers and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the shipping process, working closely with all parties involved to find solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping activities, including tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, and billing information.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and requirements, including hazardous materials handling and customs documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Assist with other logistics and supply chain tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
