Position Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient management of logistics and stock operations across multiple warehouses. Reporting to the Logistics Manager or Supply Chain Director, the Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with suppliers, shipping companies, and internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods while maintaining optimal stock levels and compliance with customs regulations.

Job Description:

• Manage logistics and stock across multiple warehouses.
• Coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, including stock-in and stock-out transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies or potential issues.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and have at least a basic understanding of customs procedures in Dubai.
• Understand the different status of goods, such as free zone and mainland, and their implications.

Other duties:

• To ensure that all employees report for duty punctually at all times.
• Ensure they maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• To assist in the training of employees ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and the most productive manner.
• To ensure that the Departments operational budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are controlled, and expenditures approved.
• To ensure that all the employees read and understand the Handbook and adhere to the rules and regulations.
• To comply with local legislation and be conversant and act in accordance with any such matters relating to your department.
• To be flexible and to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, to meet the business demands.
• To attend trainings and meetings as and when required.
• To conduct and/or contribute to regular Departmental Communication Meetings.
• To assess situations and to be able to react accordingly through analysis and perspective.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Upper-intermediate level of English is required; knowledge of Chinese and Russian is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel is essential.
• Basic understanding of customs procedures in Dubai and the distinction between free zone and mainland.
• Knowledge of 1C and Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
