Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Receive and unload incoming shipments of goods and materials, inspecting for damage and verifying quantities against packing slips or purchase orders.
  • Sort and store incoming inventory in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and accessibility for retrieval.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, following picking lists or instructions, and preparing items for shipment or delivery.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move and transport materials as needed.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory reconciliation, to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of debris, and following safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in warehouse operations is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools, and ability to operate them safely and efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as counting, sorting, and inspecting inventory, and picking and packing orders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
