INVENTORY CONTROLLER – JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Development and management of Inventory and Warehousing for a manufacturing company.

2. Lead full ERP implementation for inventory

3. Lot system implementation and barcoding full implementation

4. Prepare and maintain daily inventory, reports (cross check with production and dispatch)

5. Prepare and maintain daily stock that includes raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods

6. Prepare daily sales report of customers that includes daily average price

7. Prepare and maintain summary of all items being produced and sold

8. Prepare and maintain raw material arrival report, material return report from customer

9. Advise and implement labelling and packaging methods like barcoding, RFID tags.

10. Advise on improvements to system - for effective transportation of materials from each area

11. Stock and procure factory consumables for warehousing effectively.

12. Prepare and maintain daily stock that includes raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods

13. Prepare and maintain summary of all items being produced, sold, dispatched (collected or sent).

14. Prepare and maintain raw material arrival report, material return reports from customers

15. Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices

16. Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.

17. Conduct regular stock assessments, reconcile discrepancies, and update records to ensure accuracy.

18. Establish & follow systems to ensure ensure smooth order generation & fulfilment.

19. Work closely with production, logistics, sales and marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.

20. Ensure maximum (cost and time effective) dispatches to avoid delays in meetings customer orders.

21. Expedite delays, solve internal problems and work closely with all teams to avoid repeated scenario.

22. Lead ERP implementation relevant to Logistics, Warehousing and Inventory.

23. Create an excellent system for raw material to finished goods, with efficient floor plan mapping.

24. Be attentive and responsive in time to client requests and concerns for dispatch related matters.

25. Lot system implementation - implement a system to store materials, having mapped out the journey on from raw material to finished goods to delivery bay.

26. Overlook on-loading and off-loading of products from delivery vehicles.

27. Create a system for inventory management, delivery schedules.

28. Ensure order details are entered in ERP System like product standards, delivery and payment terms.

29. Maintain confidentiality of details like price, contracts, customer details etc,

30. Will have to occasionally deal with customer grievances of serious nature and negotiate mutually agreeable solutions to ensure customer goodwill and avoid loss of business.

31. Liaise with operations / customers and internally on order request and shipment/ delivery

32. Manage and resolve shipping related matters with warehouse, logistics and supply chain department. Responsible for action plans under company to support overall inventory and warehouse management.

33. Accurate inventory logging of materials via ERP for dispatch.

34. Perform regular stock checks for onloading and offloading and reporting any issues to the management

35. Prepare daily attendance record of warehouse and inventory workers including overtime.

36. Prepare and maintain all ISO related documents related to dispatch, logistics and warehousing.

37. Call for meetings as and when needed, for effective team work and inter-departmental relations.

38. Take a leadership role, to bring more harmony and effectiveness to the organization.

39. Escalate any issues or concerns to management and owners in good time, and always explore and present solutions, when you present a concern or a problem.

40. Assist in audits and general ledger preparation, financial transactions and documents
