Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed budget reports and financial statements.
  • Monitor organizational spending to ensure that it is within budget.
  • Analyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance in preparing budgets.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine the financial implications of different business decisions.
  • Evaluate budget proposals and funding requests.
  • Examine past budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s income and expenditures.
  • Assist departments in budget planning and financial forecasting.
  • Present financial information and budget proposals to management.
  • Recommend budget adjustments and other cost improvement measures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Budget Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
