Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Storekeeper with a strong command of English, proficient computer skills, and deep knowledge and experience with construction materials. The Storekeeper will play a pivotal role in managing inventory, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a smooth workflow within our warehouse.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written communication).
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, including their characteristics, applications, and storage requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming construction materials shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and replenishment of stock.
  • Monitor inventory levels and generate purchase orders as needed.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
  • Safely handle and store construction materials in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for dispatch, including packaging and labeling.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal departments and external clients as needed.
