Job Description:

As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests at our restaurant located in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for providing courteous and efficient service, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus. Attend to guests needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring a pleasant and memorable visit.

• Order Taking: Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, paying attention to special requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions. Communicate orders promptly to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of meals.

• Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to quality standards. Offer recommendations and upsell menu items as appropriate.

• Table Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables, resetting them for the next guests, and ensuring condiments and utensils are readily available.

• Payment Handling: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately, and return change promptly. Handle cash transactions and credit card payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth and efficient service. Communicate effectively to coordinate orders and address any guest requests or issues.

• Customer Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have. Strive to exceed guest expectations and provide personalized service.

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist with general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.

• Compliance: Adhere to food safety regulations, alcohol service guidelines, and company policies at all times. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergen information.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and outgoing attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask during peak periods.
• Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates.
