Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming goods/materials and verify their quantity and quality against delivery documents.
  • Inspect and label items with identification tags or codes, arranging them in designated storage areas.
  • Update inventory records in the database or inventory management system to reflect incoming and outgoing stock transactions.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, reconciling physical inventory with system records to identify discrepancies and address inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare and pack goods/materials for outgoing shipments or internal distribution, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse/store facilities, including shelving, racks, and storage bins.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or related field is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Storekeeper or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or retail environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software or systems, with strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse/store operations, including receiving, storage, and issuance processes.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory transactions and documentation.
