Position: Junior Accountant

Job Description:

Are you a seasoned Junior Accountant with extensive experience in Zoho Books and a deep understanding of UAE VAT and CT laws and regulations? Join our dynamic team and contribute to our financial success by utilizing your expertise in accounting, tax compliance, and software proficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Zoho Books software.

- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, bank statements, and transactions.

- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.

- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.

- Manage proper ledgers that organize the firm’s balance sheet to match with IFRS.

- Follow up with sales department regarding any issue with sales operations.

- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.

- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and CT laws and regulations, including timely filing of returns and payments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

- Minimum of [2] years of experience as a Junior Accountant, with experience in VAT and Corporate Tax.

- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is a MUST.

- Proficiency in Zoho Books accounting software is required.

- Strong understanding of IFRS.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Professional in Microsoft Excel.

- Proficient professional speaker in English, and good understanding of Arabic is a plus.

- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
