The Experienced Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company. This role includes preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing budgets, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Must be well aware of the auditing processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Conduct variance analysis and financial forecasting.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing and compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Masters degree or CPA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in Audit.
- Familiarity with financial analysis tools and software.
