A) Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining NMCRMC’s critical and sensitive information, records, and reports....

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES:
a) Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining NMCRMC’s critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
b) Actively participate in the Medical Center’s on-going Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Programs and other In-Service Training Programs
c) Act as a translator if needed
d) Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the Head of Department scope of job.

DEPARTMENT AND SPECIALIZED RESPONSIBILITIIES
a) Receives and responds to customers and guides them for the process to be followed.
e) If new patient registration forms to be filled then complete process to follow like insurance original card to be checked for the expiry date, photo and name
f) Help to fill out the consent form by their name, card number and date of medical service.
g) If old patient, asks for his/her patient ID and call for his/her file in the MRD.
h) Updates all customers with the required information or status and educate the general consent for treatment form.
i) Take appointments for doctors and schedules patients.
j) Processes bills (if assigned) and assists the customers with the relevant information.
k) Helps to collect reports from different departments.
l) Liaisons with the MRD for patient files.
m) Co-ordinate with insurance, billing, admissions and discharge departments.
n) Acts as a link between the physicians, other clinical staff and patients.
o) Handles the console and transfers and attends to telephone calls and enquiries.
p) Records all customer feedbacks and record the patient satisfaction survey form.
q) Maintains a congenial work environment for customer satisfaction.
r) Performs any other jobs assigned by the superior as per exigencies of work.
s) Participate in Medical Centre quality program and be member of quality committees if chosen.

Bachelor degree diploma or equivalent
2 Years of experience in call center
